How to Create a Product

Overview

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to create a product in the Cube-IQ Software (standalone and web versions).

Requirements

1. Cube-IQ software installed on your system.
2. Or access to Cube-IQ Web.

Procedure

Follow these steps to create a product in Cube-IQ:

1. Open Cube-IQ and navigate to the Products tab.

   
    

2. Click on the New button to create a new product entry.

   
    

3. Enter Product Information. Required fields include:

   1. Product ID:
      This is the unique identifier for the product. Use a code or name that clearly describes the product.

   2. Product Dimensions:
      Input the Length, Width, and Height of the product. Ensure units match your Cube-IQ settings.

   3. Weight:
      Enter the weight of the product. This is used to calculate total load weight during planning.

4. (Optional) Fill in additional details like Stackability, Rotation, or Group ID if applicable.

5. Click OK or Save to add the product to your database.

Your product is now created and can be used in Cube-IQ load planning scenarios.
