Overview
Cube-IQ allows you to customize how Load Plan diagrams and reports are displayed. You can adjust the visibility of product IDs, container dimensions, weight distribution, and more. These settings help you tailor visual outputs for clearer interpretation and presentation.
Requirements
- Cube-IQ 5.1 or later.
Product Information
In Cube-IQ go to the Options > Reports tab to set how the report will be displayed.

Load Plan Diagrams:
- Show Product IDs: Displays the ID of the product currently under the cursor.
- Maximum Product-ID length shown: Limits the number of characters visible in product ID labels.
- Show single ID per block: When enabled, shows one ID per group of stacked items instead of each unit.
- Show whole blocks if more units than: If a block contains more than the specified number of units, it’s shown as one large box.
- Draw bundles as blocks: Displays bundled items as single blocks.
- Show Container dimensions: Adds container length, width, and height to the diagram.
- Indicate the top of units: A top-edge line helps identify product orientation.
- Show weight distribution: Displays weight spread across the container (in supported reports).
- Show previous stage units: Reveals items packed within other units from earlier loading stages (may affect performance).
- Draw zones: Shows defined zones within containers.
- Load Plan font size: Adjusts the text size used in Load Plan diagrams.
- Use custom view angle: Enables a manually selected perspective for viewing load diagrams.
- Switch ‘Front’ and ‘Back’ labels: Reverses orientation labeling in diagrams.

Using monochrome printer: Optimizes reports for black-and-white printers.

Load Plan Reports:
- Use compact Load Plans: Produces a simplified version of the Load Plan report.

Use single step detailed Load Plans: Displays multiple blocks in each step, ideal for dense or step-based views.

In Reports – Sort Products:
- By name: Alphabetical sort of product names.
- By volume: Products sorted by volume (largest to smallest).

As entered in Load List: Keeps the original order from the Load List.

Recolor Products After Optimization:
- Never: Disables recoloring after optimization.
- By sequence number: Applies color based on the load sequence.
- By sequence and group: Groups and sequences are both reflected in colors.
- By PO: Colors by Purchase Order.
- Custom: Allows manual color assignment (enable RGB column in Load Setup).
- By stack index: Color by stack level.
- By look-ahead and matching code: Uses predictive logic and match codes to assign colors.
