How to update your BlackBox

This article will provide the necessary instructions to update the BlackBox.

Procedure

Please reach out to our Support Team to get the latest version of Blackbox. Let the team know If you have any questions before updating or need a specific version.

Updating BlackBox

1. Stop your BlackBox service by:
   1. Right-clicking the BlackBox service.
   2. Select Stop.
      
      
       
2. Rename .exe file:
   1. Navigate to your BlackBox installation folder.
   2. Rename the BlackBox executable file BlackBoxTCP.exe to BlackBoxTCP_OLD.exe.
3. Replace .exe file:
   1. Unzip the file you downloaded from the link provided above.
   2. Place the BlactBoxTCP.exe file from the zip archive into your BlackBox installation folder, alongside BlackBoxTCP_OLD.exe.
4. Restart your BlackBox service by:
   1. Right-clicking the BlackBox service.
   2. Select Start.
