Overview
It may sometimes be necessary to force your standalone Cube-IQ software to connect to a different database than the one it connects to by default. This article will explain how to do this.
Requirements
- Any currently support version of Cube-IQ.
- Valid license.
Procedure
Switching to an Alternative Database in Cube-IQ
Open Cube-IQ.
Click the Main Menu icon (upper-left).
Select Help and Registration.
In the Program Information box, note the second directory path (this is the database folder).
Go to that folder location and rename the database folder (i.e. from TestA → TestB).
Close and reopen Cube-IQ.
When prompted, browse to the folder of your alternative database and select it.
Cube-IQ will now open with the new database connection.
