Overview
If a product can be loaded in multiple orientations and you want to include all orientations in the same load, follow these steps. In this example, the product can have four different dimension configurations during loading, and we will load one container per dimension set.
Requirements
- Licensed Blackbox.
- CubeIQ license.
- Product orientations.
- Number of containers equal to the total number of different dimensions.
Procedure
- Create a product with Dimensions.
- Navigate to the Product Screen and enable Configurations.
- Create a configuration for each orientation a product can have. You will need to name the configurations to match the container you want them to be loaded in.
- In the SQL output below we have named our configurations A-D for the corresponding dimension sets.
- Add matching Code to configurations to match container.
- Add matching code to the container to match product configuration matching code. You will need 1 container per configuration type A-D. Select load this matching code only to ensure matching only products of this matching code are loaded.
- Add the four containers you created and the base product.
- When you optimize the load four containers will be loaded based on the configuration sets that were matched to them.
