Overview
The Loading Rules tab in Cube-IQ provides options that control how products are assigned and arranged in containers during optimization.
Requirements
- Cube-IQ version 5.1 or higher.
Product Information

- Interpret Product sequence as ‘priority’ – Loads lower sequence numbers first, treating them as higher priority.
- Product seq. is Container seq. – Matches product sequence numbers directly to container sequence numbers.
- Treat Groups as Sets – Ensures all grouped products stay in the same container.
- Load full stacks only – Loads only complete stacks or layers, no partial stacks.
- Override Settings (dropdown) – Applies predefined or custom override profiles for load behavior.
- Selection rule for multiple Containers – Determines how items are assigned to containers (i.e. Best fill, First fit).
- Splitting Groups over Containers is – Controls whether product groups can be split across containers.
- Finish each Product sequence – Decides if a sequence must be completed in one container or can be split.
