Overview
Cube-IQ supports vertical nesting, allowing products to be stacked in a way that reduces overall height when items partially fit into one another. This is ideal for items like cups, trays, or plastic bins that nest together when stacked.
Requirements
- Cube-IQ version 5.1 or higher.
Product Information
- Navigate to the Products tab and select the item that can be nested.
- Open the Stacking tab within the product details screen.
- Under the section Stacking on same Product, locate the field labeled “Height increase when nested/stacked”.
- Enter the nesting height increment (e.g., 0.1 cm). This value tells Cube-IQ how much height is added when an additional unit is stacked.

Example Behavior
If a product has a total height of 10 and a stackheight of 2.5:- 1 unit = 10 height
- 2 units = 10 + 2.5 = 12.5 height
- 3 units = 10 + 2×2.5 = 15 height
